Experts On Hand

Over time, the veins located in the legs can darken or protrude from the skin. If you are one of the 80 million Americans who suffer from Spider Veins or Varicose Veins, you know just how painful and embarrassing they can be especially during summer months. Through the use of lasers, injectables, and outpatient surgical procedures, our team of experts can restore your confidence by eliminating these unwanted veins from view.

Laser Vein Reduction

Laser vein reduction is an advanced treatment that is used to eliminate stubborn varicose or spider veins. During this procedure, a trained dermatologist uses a highly-focused laser to break up broken blood vessels. Once the vessels effectively coagulate, they disappear as they are then reabsorbed by the body.

Several visits can be required to completely eliminate the appearance of large, unwanted leg veins. Our team of board-certified experts are ready to put together a treatment plan that works with your schedule and results in legs that are free of unsightly or embarrassing varicose veins.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy diminishes the appearance of spider veins and small varicose veins. During this outpatient procedure, one of our board-certified dermatologists uses a syringe filled with a special solution to irritate the lining of the blood vessel and cause it to fade from view.

This quick procedure takes approximately 20 minutes and can provide visible results for up to 2 months following the injection. Ideal for small to medium sized veins, some routine follow-up maintenance may be required to completely eliminate large or stubborn veins from view.

Phlebectomy

A phlebectomy is a type of surgery that can be used to remove bulging varicose veins from the legs. During this procedure, your dermatologist will use ultrasound technology to determine whether or not a vein is eligible for excision. If it is, a local anesthetic is injected into the area and the physician will use a series of tiny incisions to extract the vein completely.
Performed in as little as 30-minutes, this is one of the only aesthetic vein treatments that doesn’t require multiple treatment sessions. While compression socks and regular exercise are required following a phlebectomy, it is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure that does not require anesthesia or extended recovery time in the hospital.
